KIDS IN 4TH TO 6TH GRADE

CHEROKEE PARK
Morristown, TN

Camp registration is Saturday, May 1 at 11 AM at Martin Luther King, Jr (MLK) Park on a first come first serve basis.

Wild Child Day Camp is a 5-day summer day camp through the University of Tennessee Ex-tension in conjunction with the TN Wildlife Re-source Agency (TWRA).

The camp provides youth with hands on educational activities to actively engage them in learning but also provides fun adventures, recreational activities and fosters new friendships. Campers are well-supervised by the 4-H agent, UT Outdoor Education Specialist, TWRA officers, adult and youth volunteers.  For more information, visit our Staff page.

Location

The camp base will be at Cherokee Park at the Horner-Daugherty Pavilion. Two days will be conducted off-site and campers will be transported by bus to the locations and return to Cherokee Park for pick-up. On Friday, June 18 pickup will be at the Regional TWRA office located across I-25 from the park.

Includes lunch and snacks!

Family members are invited to join us on Friday evening for a fun evening where the campers can show off the skills they have learned, family members can participate in small versions of the activities from the week and finish with a family wild game supper.
