Wild Child Day Camp is a 5 day summer camp through the University of School of Jackson (USJ), in conjunction with the University of Tennessee Extension, and Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA).
The camp provides youth with hands-on educational activities to actively engage them in learning and provides fun adventures, recreational activities, and new friendships. Campers are well-supervised by the University School of Jackson, UT Outdoor Education Specialist, TWRA Wildlife Officers, adult, and youth volunteers. See our Staff page for more information.
Field Trips
Three days will consist of field trips to Humboldt Lake & Hatchery, Lone Oak Farms, and Chickasaw State Park. Campers will be transported by bus to the field trip locations.

Scott Reese
As the Outdoor Education Specialist for the Tennessee 4-H Program, Scott Reese oversees 4-H outdoor recreation camps and activities as well as all Tennessee 4-H Shooting Sports events and activities. He enjoys camping, hiking, campfire cooking, hunting, kayaking and fishing.
